The goals of CVA are to educate our Muslim children both religiously and worldly and to offer a world class education in an excellent Islamic environment with no cost to our Muslim children living in Colorado.

IntroductionCVA was founded in 1993 and maintains an excellent instructional program and pledges to manage resources efficiently to ensure high quality academics and Islamic Studies for the education of its students. The school is also fully accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. There are 250+ students and approximately 30 teachers and faculty on staff.
CVA has 7 board members and over 20 volunteers that assist the school in areas such as technology, education, scholarships, maintenance, foundries and Parent Teacher Organization PTO.
CVA has two state of the art computer labs with wireless internet. HOPE Co-Op is a tuition-free virtual public charter school; it is not a scholarship or tuition assistance program for private school students and must not be portrayed as such. The core classes of Language Arts, Math, Social Studies and Science are taught using Hope Co-Op*s non-sectarian curriculum.Hope Co-Op students may enroll in elective classes or participate in extra-curricular activities at CVA on a voluntary basis according to our school*s policies.
MissionThe primary mission of Crescent View Academy (CVA) is to build the Islamic characteristics and to teach students the Islamic values based on the guidance of the Quran and the Sunna of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) so they may live and contribute to their community and to the society at large. . The curriculum at CVA designed to adhere to the standards and benchmarks required by the Colorado Board of Education. The CVA curriculum is designed to prepare the children as Muslims and leaders in America with positive attitudes and global perspectives.Objectives
- Providing students with an Islamic environment in which they can grow intellectually, spiritually and ethically and promoting a keen love and respect for Islam, its meaning, and purpose.
- Offering the ultimate in academic excellence so that the students are prepared to take an active and dominant role in the world in which they live and to strive for excellence in all they do throughout their lives.
- Enhancing the lives of our students through the practical application of Islamic education, academic character development and social awareness with a deep respect for intellectual and moral values appropriate to Muslims.
Implementation
Toward the goal of providing the Muslim children with a proper learning Islamic environment in the USA where they can learn and practice their own religion. The Colorado area Muslim community has, Alhamdulilah, established a full-time Islamic educational institution. At Crescent View Academy, we provide the save environment that is both Islamic as well as conducive to the teaching and learning of academic standards and benchmarks that are adopted by the State of Colorado The friendly surroundings provide the students with a healthy atmosphere supportive to their wholesome spiritual, religious, academic, emotional and social development At Crescent View Academy, the faculty engages the students in discussion, simple research and experimentation, hands-on experience, competitions,and fairs all in an encompassing Islamic environment. |
